Hiya peeps, how're y'all doing this fine afternoon. So I'm very excited today. One of my favourite blogs has produced their very first stage play and its going to show this weekend at Terra Kulture. See ehn, those guys at TNC are the craziest, dopest, and most of all "intelligentest" peeps ever! And I have no doubt that this play is going to be dope!
Anywaiz, see gist from the Toolsman below...

5 years ago, we set out to create a safe space online where young Nigerians could meet to freely express themselves without being judged. I must confess, it’s be a long, sometimes tough, but always fulfilling journey so far. We have had our successes winning local and international awards, we have published a book and more importantly, we have touched lives.
Today marks another milestone in the history of The Naked Convos. It is with great pride that I announce our first stage production titled – Colour Me Man which we have brought to you in collaboration with the super awesome people at Gbagyichild Entertainment, producers of Taruwa arts and culture festival.
Colour Me Man is an exploration of some of the less frequently discussed things that ‘colour’ men and make them what they are. It is very loosely inspired by the play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf” by Ntozake Shange and it is based on elements of the ‘For Colored Men’ (2012) and ‘The Penis Monologues’ (2011) series which ran right here on this site and adapted to stage by Abiodun Kassim, Ikenna Jude Okpala and our very own Wole Talabi (Alchemist) and Pemi Aguda (Betty).
The play which is directed by Najite Dede and produced by Lydia Idakula Sobogun stars Deyemi Okanlawon, Timi Charles-Fadipe, Toju Ejoh, Seun Kentebe, Ola-Rotimi Fakunle and Simi Hassan.
Colour Me Man aims to express, explore and expose many of the circumstances, struggles, experiences, quirks and obstacles that several groups of Nigerian men face throughout their lives. The monologues deal with wealth, family, health, love, sex, religion and much more… embodied by each man’s colour and told in his own way.
You made this possible with your love and support and we can’t thank you enough for it. We’ll also like to say a HUGE thank you to Etisalat and Prize For Literature team for their support. Please save the date and we look forward to seeing you there.

When Would I Stop Loving My Ex..

Oh my God! It's been so long, I don't even know what to say.. I won't even presume to think that anyone still opens this blog to read.. lol.

Happy new year Sunshine's Musings, it's been a long time. I was talking to Thelma yesterday and accusing her of not posting on her blog for a couple of days now and somehow the conversation turned to my own blog and I had to admit I hadn't even been trying for over a year now. I have to say tho that I didn't think it was going to be this hard...

Anywaiz, I wrote the post below 5 or so months ago and sent it to TTB anonymously but I think I'm at a place where I can share this now..

Hiya guys..

So I was going through my system and I found the Dando pictures I had saved to put up on the blog in December but apparently, I never got around to it *covers face* and it feels like years since I put anything up. I hope you all are doing alright and life is treating you well?
The Dando outreach was a huge success. We went to all the places that we planned to go and everything we took out, food, water and drinks was exhausted completely! Nothing remained! We had over 400 packs of food and drinks and we gave everything out. I can't remember any time that I was more tired than I was on that day but I also can't remember a time that I was happier. That day simply fabulous.

I can't tell too much story but I hope the pictures below would tell the story(they're quite a lot..sorry), enjoy...

Blog Award From Thelma Thinks: Sisterhood Of The World Bloggers

Hiya peeps, How're y'all doing this fine Monday evening? How did last week go? Did you accomplish all you set out to do? My week was very stressful last week, I'm relieving a colleague of mine who's on leave and mehn... its been a lesson in patience and tolerance. My phone rings non stop all day everyday, its crazy. But besides that and the fact that I lost my 91 year old grandpa today, I'm very well.
